It was mixed fortunes for our junior teams this weekend in the National League.
The 14U boys team battled to a close win over Baker TA to win their league, well done to everyone who has played in the team this season!
The 10U team lost to a very good Billericay team to finish the season as runners-up, a great result!
Our other 14U boys team lost to Westcliff Hard, and the boys 11U team lost to Redbridge, with some of the boys playing yellow ball matches for the first time, so lots of experience gained.
Well done to all players involved!

A few photos from Cranston Parkβs visit to a very hot Eastbourne this week! They were lucky enough to watch many Brits in action. The Eastbourne trip is an annual event for the club, swipe right to see a photo from a trip in the early 1990βs! 3 originals were again attending this week! The day finished with the traditional fish and chips on the seafront. Looks like a great day out!

π₯πΎLONDON YOUTH GAMES RUNNERSβ UP!πΎπ₯
So proud of these four talented players! Cranston Parkβs Lucy, Aaron and Oliver along with team-mate Kyla represented Havering in the Tennis at the London Youth Games finals today.
We were up against a strong Wandsworth team in the quarter finals, and after wins for Kyla and Aaron the tie was to be decided by a mixed doubles shoot-out. Kyla and Aaron played awesome to win 10-9 on a deciding point!
In the semis Havering faced Hillingdon. The team was on fire for this tie, resulting in a clean sweep of matches including a dominant display from Lucy to not drop a game, and a clutch win from Oliver saving match point to take us to the final.
In the final the team faced a very strong Bexley side. All four Havering players played extremely well, but eventually came out as runners-up after some close matches.
Well done to all players involved, you were all a pleasure to have in the team! Roll on next year!

Very happy with the power brushing that the artificial clay courts received this week, they are playing lovely! Thank you to EuroClay for their work, and to groundsman Steve and all of our members for always sweeping them after use and maintaining them so well!

It was a great weekend of tennis in the Junior National League competition.
It was Cranston 1s vs 2s in the boys 14U on Saturday, with the 1s taking a 5-1 win in a very competitive game.
On Sunday saw the 12U boys team play their final match in the Premier tier. The boys managed to finish with a 4-2 win over league leaders Hamptons, a fantastic effort! This is the first season the boys are playing in the Premier event and have played incredibly well to finish 3rd in the league, a great result! Well done to everyone who played.
